If you have ever met Travis, you know that he is a very energetic young professional. He greatly values his relationships and integrity with others. Travis’ passion for working with others and helping them reach both their financial and personal goals is what he loves most about his job.
Travis was born and raised in North Battleford until he moved to Saskatoon to attend the University of Saskatchewan. Travis completed his Bachelor of Commerce in 2009 with his focus being in Finance. He started with Wiegers Financial in 2008 as part of a Co-operative work program through the University in 2008. Travis was honoured to receive the first ever BCEP Scholarship for outstanding achievement in his placement at Wiegers Financial at the program’s conclusion.
Travis is very community focused. He is the founder and Chair of a fundraiser in Saskatoon, called the Lows in Motion Parkinson’s Fundraiser. This event was created as a result of both Travis’ father and grandfather being affected by Parkinson’s disease. In addition, Travis has been on the organizing committee of the Premier’s Golf Tournament for the past three years. This experience has provided Travis with the opportunity to meet a lot of great people who have been very influential in his career development.
In his spare time, Travis enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s hitting the links for a golf game, playing pond hockey or at the lake hunting and fishing. In the summer Travis enjoys spending time at the lake camping with his friends and family.
